High Salary SG

James Harden-Hosuton Rockets (11,500): Harden and the Rockets make their second visit to his former team in OKC tonight. In his game last month against the Thunder, Harden had only 13-7-13 for 40.9 fantasy points. He has definitely been putting together a monster season under coach Mike D’Antoni, but his recent assist numbers have been down enough that I think he’s high-risk in am matchup where he struggled earlier this year.

Giannis Antetokounmpo-Milwaukee Bucks (10,300): I prefer “The Alphabet” to “The Beard” tonight since he’s cheaper and in a far better matchup. Antetokounmpo and the Bucks are hosting the Hawks who have been shredded by opposing PG over the last few weeks. Hey have allowed an average of over 60 fantasy points per game to opposing PG over their last five games and have now given up more fantasy points per game to opposing PG than any other team in the NBA.

Antetokoumpo comes into this great matchup on a hot streak with at least 42 fantasy points in five straight and over 54 fantasy points in three of those contests. He had a nice 15-12-11 triple double on Wednesday while adding four blocks and two steals for 54.9 fantasy points. I think he has a great shot to get 50+ again tonight so I like him even though he costs five figures.

Nicolas Batum-Charlotte Hornets (7,100): Batum continues to fly under the radar and produce good fantasy numbers on a regular basis for the Hornets. He had identical stat lines of 14 points and 15 rebounds in his last two games and now has at least 35 fantasy points in each of his last three. He is a low-risk play tonight against the Magic although Orlando has defended opposing SG pretty well this season.

Avery Bradley-Boston Celtics (6,900): Bradley was busy on Wednesday while Isaiah Thomas was out totaling 35.3 fantasy points on 23-4-3 against the Magic. With IT4 again sidelined tonight, he’ll carry the load against the Raptors, but it will be a tough matchup since Toronto allows the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing SG.

Victor Oladipo-Oklahoma City Thunder (6,500): Oladipo ripped the Rockets for 29-10-5 and a season-high 49.5 fantasy points when the Thunder faced them earlier this season. He has at least 29 fantasy points in eight of his last 11 games and should be rested and ready to play a heavy workload tonight. Houston allows the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing SG, and Oladipo is in a great matchup to attack tonight.

Lou Williams-Los Angeles Lakers (6,000): Williams continues to pick up the slack with all the Lakers backcourt injuries. He has scored 40, 38, and 24 points and totaled 45.9 fantasy points, 54.7 fantasy points, and 27.2 fantasy points in his last three games. He was limited to just 25 minutes on Wednesday in a blowout against Houston which resulted in his lower numbers, but he should play 30+ tonight in a good matchup against the Suns.
