When will the 2016 Heisman Trophy Presentation start on Saturday night?

After making incredible plays and leading their team to unbelievable victories, five players will come together to find out who is the 2016 Heisman Trophy winner on Saturday night in New York City. The finalists are Jabrill Peppers, Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Baker Mayfield and Dede Westbrook. One of these will join an illustrious class of legends.

For those that want to watch the Heisman Trophy Presentation on Saturday night, it will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET on TV on ESPN. Jackson comes into the event as the big favorite to win the award. Between his arm and his legs, Jackson had some impressive yardage numbers and scored plenty of touchdowns. He was the definition of a football player and did it all for his team.

Watson also had a huge year at quarterback for Clemson and is a finalist yet again. He helped lead his team to big victories in the ACC and marched them back to the College Football Playoff for the second year in a row.

Peppers was the player that did it all on both sides of the ball for Michigan. He was a weapon utilized in all phases by Jim Harbaugh and he proved that defensive players are still worthy of being considered the best in the nation.

The two Oklahoma Sooners both have each other to thank for tremendous seasons. Baker Mayfield helped lead the team to the Big 12 Championship again with several big plays and most of those came from wide receiver Dede Westbrook, who used blazing speed and made great catches throughout the season. One of these five will stand among the elite of college football after Saturday.
