Navy broke through against Army in the fourth quarter thanks to this amazing run from Zach Abey
For those that did not know by now, Army has not beaten Navy since 2001. On Saturday, they are trying to break that frustrating curse in the latest edition of the game, and things were going quite well through three quarters. Most of us were convinced that they were headed towards that elusive win finally.
Well, then the fourth quarter happened. And so did Navy quarterback Zach Abey.
Army was leading in this one, 14-10, and Navy needed something, anything to get back into this one. Well they got back into this one by taking the lead, thanks to this amazing 41-yard scamper from Abey.
Navy needed something to finally get their confidence up in this one, and that play right there will certainly do it. The Midshipmen offense was not having the best day on Saturday, but this play right here may have just erased all of that. It’s possible now that they can use this momentum the rest of the way to make sure the vaunted streak stays alive.

This has been one of the more memorable editions of the Army-Navy game that we have seen, and with an entire quarter to go, it has the potential to only get better from here. If Abey keeps the offense moving like that, then we could be in for a fun finish — and one that Navy will certainly enjoy.
Buckle up, folks, because we could be headed for a wild finish in this one by the time all is said and done in Baltimore.
