Good Sunday morning to the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers. It’s game day for both playoff contenders. So let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
The weather outside in Wisconsin may be frightful for some. But for Mike McCarthy’s team, the Green Bay Packers need to keep on winning so they can play games beyond January 1.
For the second straight season, the Pack welcomes the Seattle Seahawks to Lambeau Field. It’s a meeting between two franchises that have impressive postseason streaks. Pete Carroll has led is club to the playoffs four straight years while Green Bay has reached the season season seven consecutive years dating back to 2009.
In Week 2 of 2015, Aaron Rodgers and company came away with a 27-17 Sunday night win over Seattle. Over the past four-plus seasons, it’s the only game the Seahawks have lost by double digits since Russell Wilson became the starting quarterback in 2012.
But today we will find out how much football is a game of inches. That’s because Green Bay is in the midst of a big-time snowstorm. The pictures speak for themselves. And the forecast is calling for six to 10 inches of the white stuff.

Friend and colleague @JeffDarlington, in Green Bay for today's Packers-Seahawks game, texted about the snow: "Dude, it's coming DOWN."

Of course, this is very old hat for the Rodgers and his team. You have to go all the way back to last Sunday to see the Packers play in similar conditions. Last Sunday, the veteran quarterback and his team braved the elements in a 21-13 win over the Houston Texans. Rodgers completed 20-of-30 passes for 209 yards and a pair of touchdown passes in the victory.
