New Pokemon are now available in Pokemon GO (Video)

At long last, new Pokemon are finally making their way to Pokemon GO. Here’s some Pokemon we’ll be able to catch and more news.

It’s no surprise that the Pokemon GO craze has died down a bit. But maybe, just maybe, the fan base behind it will pick up again now that we can find new Pokemon.

As you walk around an area, many new Pokemon from the Johto Region will be available to acquire. Some of these include Togepi, Pichu, and so on.

It isn’t as simple as walking around and having them appear on your radar. The only way to add these Pokemon to your Pokedex is by acquiring eggs at PokeStops.

Once you discover these eggs, if you’re lucky enough, you may get that Pokemon that you desire. However, this isn’t the only thing to look forward too. Niantic, Inc has a lot more in store, especially for the holiday season. /

For a limited time, you’ll also have to be on the lookout for a limited edition Pikachu. To celebrate Christmas time, Pikachu will be rocking a festive Santa Claus hat. If you’re lucky, this limited edition Pikachu will also be added to your Pokedex.

So far, the only Pokemon that we know of that are hatching from these eggs, as stated before, are Togepi and Pichu. You’ll have to hatch the eggs yourself to see which other Pokemon are available.

Since those are Pokemon from the Pokemon Gold and Silver versions, we may find some of our favorites from those games. Regardless, this is only the beginning, and many more Pokemon are expected to be added in the next couple of months.

We’ll have to wait and see if this is something that will draw players back to the game. Whether you’re a fan or not, it’s still pretty cool.
