Previous: . Minnesota Vikings. 19. team. 60. Minnesota finished off a fourth-quarter comeback on the road against the Jaguars with Mike Zimmer back and sporting an eyepatch on the sideline. Jacksonville’s goal line defense nearly held off Matt Asiata twice, but the running back made the second attempt count with a power run up the gut late. In typical Vikings fashion, not one player on offense stood out with Sam Bradford throwing the football. Adam Thielen quietly had a nice game with over 100 receiving yards, while Stefon Diggs laid out for a big catch late in the first half. Taking advantage of Jacksonville’s 14 turnovers, the Vikings remain in the playoff hunt despite two teams in the division winning.
Next Week: Minnesota looks to stay above .500 when the Colts travel to U.S. Bank Stadium for a Sunday matinee. Andrew Luck has just one career appearance against the Vikings, in which he threw two touchdowns and no interceptions in a Colts win. Luck is 12-3 in December football, and could threaten the Vikings postseason chances.

Playoff Hopes: Despite a midseason collapse, the Vikings could squeak into the playoffs. However, a tough NFC East and South could mean the Giants and the second-place finisher of the South take the two wild card spots, leaving the once undefeated Vikings on the outside looking in.
. 7-6
