Atlanta Falcons. 10. team. 44. Despite not having Julio Jones, the Falcons offense dominated with no signs of slowing down. Matt Ryan passed for 237 yards and three touchdowns and the defense came up big against Jared Goff, forcing five turnovers in Los Angeles. Without Jones and Mohamed Sanu, Taylor Gabriel became the primary target for Ryan, catching three passes and scoring on a 64-yard pass in the third quarter. Seeing the Rams commit 11 penalties let Falcons fans relax with a 42-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. A healthy Tevin Coleman, who scored two touchdowns, will be critical with Jones and Sanu nursing injuries.
Next Week: Ryan and the offense will have fun next week when the 49ers come to town, and provide an extraordinary amount of time for them to produce. San Francisco gives the ball away more than they can take it, leaving their defense weary with the offense paying little attention to time of possession.

Playoff Hopes: Tampa Bay continues to nip at the Falcons’ heels in the division title race. The pair split their season series, making the three remaining games critically important for Atlanta to finish off. The Falcons score the most points per game in the league (32.2), while the defense ranks 29th in points allowed per game with 27.6 through 13 games.
. 8-5. Previous:
