Welcome to the inaugural episode of The Step Back’s Day-to-Day, our new daily NBA Podcast, hosted by Jason Mann. Our first episode looks at NBA debates that we are tired of having with guest James Holas (@JHolasHoops) of PressBasketball.com and Bballbreakdown.com.

Whether both sides are immovable or there’s nothing new to add to the discussion, we go through some of the debates we’d most like to see retired, including parsing Daymond Green’s kicks, Russell Westbrook and the “right way” to play point guard, whether Sam Hinkie’s “Trust the Process” plan was good or bad for the 76ers and the NBA, anything comparing the greatness of Kobe Bryant vs. LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan, who the fourth-best point guard in the NBA might be (usually between Kyrie Irving, John Wall, Kyle Lowry and Damian Lillard), and whether a hot dog is indeed a sandwich.

We also consider whether there’s still value in any of these discussions and look at players who might be flash points for future intractable arguments, including Andrew Wiggins and DeMar Derozan.
