High Salary PG

Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (12,600): Westbrook’s triple-double streak came to an end on Sunday against the Celtics, but he still was the hero at the end of the Thunder win and posted 57.4 fantasy points. He did that with 37-12-6 (points-rebounds-assists) while adding in a couple of steals. Westbrook has at least 52 fantasy points in 12 straight games, and is almost always good for a monster number. However, he does cost over 12K and has been held under 60 fantasy points in three of his last four. The game tonight in Portland should be a high-scoring one and features two of the most dynamic backcourts in the Western Conference.

Damian Lillard-Portland Trail Blazers (9,700) Last night, Lillard and the Blazers gave the Clippers a close game in LA but couldn’t avoid the series sweep. Lillard totaled 44 fantasy points on 24-5-8 with a block and a steal which are solid numbers in a tough matchup with CP3. Tonight, he’ll take on Westbrook and the Thunder who are allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG. Regardless of how last night went, Lillard will be fired up to defend his home court against Westbrook and the Thunder. Lillard has at least 44 fantasy points in four of his previous five games. Lillard costs 3,000 less than Westbrook, but I like him to be a better points-per-dollar play than Westbrook tonight.∗∗∗∗

Eric Bledsoe-Phoenix Suns (8,500): Bledsoe has been huge for the Suns in their last two games with 55.3 fantasy points against the Lakers on Friday on 30-4-9 and 47.6 fantasy points against the Pelicans on 32-3-8 against the Pelicans on Sunday. Bledsoe has at least 44 fantasy points in five of his last eight, but his down games tend to be pretty rough. He’s a boom-or-bust play tonight at home against the Knicks, but there is a lot of upside to like.

Dennis Schroder-Atlanta Hawks (6,900): Schroder has been rolling lately and has at least 34 fantasy points in six of his last seven. He had a career-high 33 points on Friday against the Bucks totaling 39.6 fantasy points on 33-3-4. The Magic are in the top ten in most fantasy points allowed to opposing PG, so Schroder is a solid play at home at this price point especially after three days off.

Derrick Rose-New York Knicks (6,800): Rose stepped right back in effectively on Sunday against the Lakers totaling 31.6 fantasy points on 25-3-2. He has at least 30 fantasy points in five of his last six games not cut short by injury, and he’s in a great matchup tonight against the Suns who are allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG. ∗∗∗∗
