If you’re a Star Wars fan, then you know that you’ll be in the theater for a good amount of time. How long will you have to be in the theater for Rogue One?

One of the best times of the year for movie-goers is here. Considering that this time of the year is considered “awards season,” there’s a handful of films to look out for.

This film may not be one that gets so much award recognition. But it’s definitely a film for the fans. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is only a few days away and we can’t contain our excitement.

One of the biggest questions heading into any film is “how long will the film be?” It’s good to know so that the audience knows just how long they’ll have to be in the theater.

For Rogue One, the total running time for the film is two hours and 13 minutes. When you really think about it, that’s just about as long as any other Star Wars film. So, fans will be in familiar territory here.

To give some examples, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope is two hours and five minutes long. The sequel, Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back, is around the same, running for two hours and seven minutes.

But, Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi is a bit longer, clocking in at two hours and 16 minutes. The longest Star Wars film to date is Attack of the Clones, which is two hours and 22 minutes long. Then again, that’s an absolutely terrible movie. So, that isn’t a very good thing.
