This past weekend, the Denver Broncos suffered a bad loss at the hands of the Tennessee Titans, as they just were not able to get anything going on offense. Quarterback Trevor Siemian got the start despite being banged up, but the lack of a running game really hurt his ability to produce anything. The Titans stacked the box against Broncos, making Siemian throw, and the results were not good.

Last April, the Broncos drafted quarterback Paxton Lynch in the first round, expecting him to sit behind Mark Sanchez for the season. Well, Lynch has been pressed into duty twice due to injury to Siemian, who beat out Sanchez and Lynch in preseason for the starting job. Denver needs to do a better job of protecting their quarterbacks, and adding a guard like Dan Feeney would definitely bolster the offensive line for next season.

Denver has a Super Bowl caliber defense, though every team has a very short window to win championships. Their defense is good enough to get them there, but the offense has been even worse than they were last year. Whether the team rolls with Siemian or Lynch next season, they need to be able to run the ball and give their quarterback time in the pocket to hit guys like Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas for big gains, and Feeney is the best offensive guard in this draft class.
