It is a lost season for the New Orleans Saints, who now look like they cannot even get the ball into the end zone. They were taken apart by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, and quarterback Drew Brees has not thrown a touchdown pass in the month of December. Still, this team is going to be fine on offense with Brees under center, and it is their defensive secondary that could use some talent next April.

Quincy Wilson from the Florida Gators is a very talented cornerback, who should be the first one off of the board during the draft. He has incredible cover skills, and his ball-hawking abilities make him someone who teams shy away from. The Saints are beaten by good quarterbacks on a weekly basis, so adding depth to their defensive backfield has to be a priority this high in the draft.

Wilson and Teez Tabor formed arguably the best cornerback tandem in college football in 2016, and both are likely to be selected in the first round. Good cornerbacks are the kind of players you can build a defense around, as the NFL is definitely a pass-first league nowadays. Wilson would instantly upgrade the position in New Orleans, as has the big-play ability that would make him a fan favorite in the Bayou.
