Wrap-Up:

Moving forward Knicks fans finally have a team they can be happy about. They appeal to all types of fans, hardcore NBA junkies to casual New York hipsters. With a star-studded roster, the Knicks brand is better than it’s been in almost twenty years.

When Phil Jackson took over, his vision was fuzzy and fans were reluctant to buy-in. After a few dark seasons, the Knicks trusted the process and now hope for a conference title. Maybe they make the NBA Finals, maybe they don’t, either way, the league is a better place when they’re relevant.

Sure, the NBA Finals will still get a monster television number, but the league was built on regional popularity. So if the Knicks can dethrone the Cavaliers, they may be saving the league in the process.
