High Salary SF

Paul George-Indiana Pacers (8,300): George was a little bit of a letdown in my FanDuel daily picks on Monday, but he still did manage 22-5-3 and 30.5 fantasy points. He has scored at least 20 points in five straight games and has over 45 fantasy points in two of his last four. PG13 and the Pacers take on Miami tonight for the first time this season, and George will get a good matchup since Miami has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing SF this season. He had his best game of the season last Saturday with 51.5 fantasy points on 37-5-3, and he has a high enough ceiling to be a good consideration at this price tonight at home in a good matchup. The main reason his last game was a little down was his lack of non-scoring numbers.

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (8,300): Kawhi has been his usual quietly productive self this season and has kicked it up a notch the last three games to produce 41.2 fantasy points, 41.1 fantasy points, and 45.7 fantasy points. He also had a good game the last time the Spurs played the Celtics with 25-10-4 and 45 fantasy points. Tonight, he’ll get the C’s again who have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing SF this season. Leonard has at least 21 points in seven straight games and should be able to extend that streak while adding good rebound numbers as well  to be worth his 8K salary tonight.

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (8,100): Hayward has been on a similarly run of his own carrying the weight of the Jazz offense while George Hill and Rodney Hood have been sidelined. Hayward has scored at least 22 points in each of his last ten games and has over 36 fantasy points in nine in a row. He hasn’t been as consistently over 40 fantasy points as Kawhi, but he should get a ton of usage again tonight against the Thunder. Look for the Jazz SF to step up again tonight and be a really solid play. I like him more than PG but a little less than Kawhi.

Harrison Barnes-Dallas Mavericks (6,300): While he isn’t as consistent as the three other SF on this slide, Barnes has been a big-time fantasy option so far this season in his first year for the Mavs. Barnes has a nice ceiling as he showed with 42.4 fantasy points against Charlotte on Monday of last week, but he isn’t as consistent as he showed with just 11.3 fantasy points against the Kings a week ago tonight. Barnes and the Mavs get the Pistons tonight, and he’s a solid mid-range play if you can’t stack two of the better SF options.
