After losing in a close contest away to leaders Chelsea on Sunday, West Brom are returning home where they will look to make it three wins in a row at the Hawthorns against Swansea. They are currently in eighth place in the league table, one point behind Watford, and only four behind sixth-place Manchester United. West Brom manager Tony Pulis does not have any injuries to contend with, but will be without suspended defender Craig Dawson.
Swansea have won two of their last three after defeating last-place Sunderland 3-0 on Saturday. The six points are huge for the Swans manager Bob Bradley, who has a had rough start to his tenure. There have been rumblings already about replacing the American, but he will hope the recent results have given the club and the fans confidence in his ability to lead Swansea out of the drop zone.
Swansea trail 17th place West Ham by one point; a good result on Wednesday could see them swap places with the Hammers, temporarily escaping the bottom three. The Swans have been bolstered by the play of striker Fernando Llorente, who scored a brace in each of his team’s two previous wins.
