6. Hawai’i Bowl (Middle Tennessee vs Hawaii)

Another team basically playing a home game in this year’s bowl season happens to be the 6-7 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. They didn’t play particularly well, but they’re being rewarded with a tropical home game, like all home contests for the Rainbow Warriors, as well as an awesome gift package.

The Hawai’i Bowl is an interesting one as the Rainbow Warriors will likely be the underdogs against Middle Tennessee. Everyone knows the Blue Raiders as the school that pulled off an upset as a 15-seed in last year’s NCAA Tournament over No. 2 seed Michigan State, but they have also had a successful football season.

Looking to lock up win No. 9 on the year, the Blue Raiders will be rewarded with a trip to Hawaii and a matchup against a beatable opponent.

I was surprised at how nice the gift package was for such an off-the-wall bowl game, but these two teams are getting the works.

For starters, they will receive an electronics gift suite, which just sounds like a win. An Oakley backpack and Holbrook sunglasses will be tacked on as well as a Tori Richard aloha shirt, beach towel, Pro Athletics surf trunks and team performance gear.

Spring break has come early for at least one of these teams.
