3. The Game Changer

Often times in the playoffs, games will come down to one last kick or play. If the Ravens have the ball with a chance to kick the game winning field goal, Justin Tucker is the last man the other team will want to see. He has made all but one of his field goals this season, and the lone one he didn’t make got blocked. Don’t undermine the importance of having a clutch kicker. Imagine how differently the New England Patriots might be remembered had it not been for Adam Vinatieri.

Kicking clutch field goals comes naturally for Tucker. Ever since he played high school football in Texas, the multi-talented kicker has been kicking under extreme pressure. Tucker is the epitome of the modern day placekicker. He’s not just a dude who kicks footballs for a living, he’s a football player who happens to be very good at kicking. Tucker takes incredible pride in his work and is obsessive about every kick. Ask him why he missed a kick and he’ll give you every last detail.

Tucker don’t just make short field goals either. He makes long ones as well and makes it look very easy. Tucker is 20 for 20 from past 40 yards. He’s the ultimate game changer on special teams, an area the Ravens will have an advantage in.
