The Green Bay Packers travel to Soldier Field to face the Chicago Bears in Week 15. Here’s a preview and a look at the odds.
After a three-game winning streak, the Green Bay Packers will try to extend it to four games on Sunday Dec. 18 when they travel to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears. They will be out for revenge, as Chicago beat them earlier this season. Considering Green Bay is still two games behind the Detroit Lions for the NFC North lead, this is a must win game for them. Meanwhile, the Bears find themselves in last place in the division.
Green Bay has played extremely well as of late, with quarterback Aaron Rodgers looking much closer to the MVP candidate fans know him as. However, the Packers will face a challenge, as they are merely 2-4 on the road this season. Rodgers has 3,529 passing yards and 32 touchdowns this season. He has added 295 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
On the other side of the field, the Bears lost to the Detroit Lions 20-17 in Week 14. Even though their record is unimpressive with merely three wins, they have been playing better as of late. In their last three losses, Chicago lost by one score each time. Matt Barkley has been promising as their quarterback. Their defense has been very good this season, ranking in the top 10 in fewest yards allowed per game and fewest passing yards per game.

Even considering that Green Bay is on the road, this seems like a pretty small spread. Rodgers is playing extremely well. Though the Bears are playing well too, Green Bay’s simply on fire. Barkley will get a very tough test going against a secondary which has done quite well as of late. He’ll have to take on Rodgers as well.
Prediction: Green Bay 31, Chicago 17
