High Value PG

Deron Williams-Dallas Mavericks (5,400): Williams returns to Utah tonight as the Mavs face the Jazz in the late game. Williams has been playing pretty well lately with at least 28 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games. He had 16-3-5 against the Pistons on Wednesday giving him at least 15 points and at least five assists in five of his last six. Williams should be motivated to put up a big line tonight, and he won’t have to deal with George Hill who has already been ruled out.

Elfrid Payton-Orlando Magic (5,100): Payton has an awesome matchup tonight against the Nets who have allowed more fantasy points to opposing PG than any other team in the NBA. Payton has been coming off the bench for Orlando which raises his risk factor but hasn’t limited his production. He had 9-3-9 on Wednesday agains the Clippers  for 32.25 fantasy points, but he had an even bigger game with 26-3-14 for 54.75 fantasy points against the Hawks on Tuesday. He has over 30 fantasy points in three of his last six games, and I think he’ll be able to get around that amount again tonight making him a solid option from just over 5K in today’s DraftKings daily picks.

Sergio Rodriguez-Philadelphia 76ers (5,000): Rodriguez had 16-1-5 for 25.25 fantasy points against he Raptors on Wednesday after missing a game with illness. That performance gives him at least 23 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games since rejoining the starting lineup. Since Jerryd Bayless had wrist surgery and is done for the season, Rodriguez will get a chance to run the team for the foreseeable future making him a solid value play as long as his salary doesn’t rise too much more than this. Tonight, he’ll get the start against D’Angelo Russell and the Lakers.

Ramon Sessions-Charlotte Hornets (3,700): One intriguing flier to check on tonight is Ramon Sessions who is expected to start in place of Kemba Walker for the Hornets. Sessions hasn’t had over 22 fantasy points since November 19 and hasn’t reached 25 fantasy points in any game this season, so there is definitely risk in rolling with him. He should get his heaviest workload and have a chance to produce tonight, but it’s unsure how he’ll perform in his expanded role.

Austin Rivers-Los Angeles Clippers (3,900): Rivers started for the Clippers on Wednesday in place of Luc Richard Mbah a Mouse and went off for 25-4-2  and a solid 38 fantasy points. Mbah a Moute’s injury isn’t expected to be serious, but if Rivers gets another start he’ll be a nice option against the Heat. Rivers has been playing well with double-digit scoring in five of his last seven and over 20 fantasy points in each of those five. If he gets another start (as expected) he has a higher ceiling than Delly, but he also does come with more risk especially if he ends up coming off the bench. With Mbah a Moute-∗∗ No Mbah a Moute-
