Here’s how to watch Saturday’s matchup between the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and No. 17 Xavier Musketeers online.
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons will try to earn a marquee victory when they visit the No. 17 Xavier Musketeers on Saturday night at the Cintas Center.
Third-year head coach Danny Manning is quickly turning around a Wake Forest program that hasn’t been to the NCAA Tournament since 2010. The Demon Deacons are off to an 8-2 start, just three wins shy of their total from last year, and have won three in a row following a loss to Northwestern on November 28.
Sophomore John Collins is leading the way for the Demon Deacons with 18 points and 10.7 rebounds per game, both of which are well up from his averages a year ago. Wake Forest has three other scorers in double figures, helping the team average 82 points per game.

Xavier retained a good amount of talent from last year’s 28-win squad and currently also sits at 8-2. The Mountaineers bounced back from back-to-back road losses against No. 4 Baylor and Colorado with a solid win over Utah last Saturday.
Chris Mack has another deep roster to work with, as three different Xavier players are averaging at least 14 points per game. Junior Trevon Bluiett leads the Musketeers in scoring with 19.1 points per contest, including a career-high 27 against Colorado.

An upset would be huge for an improving Wake Forest team before heading into ACC play, but the Cintas Center is a challenging environment. Xavier needs to avoid a third non-conference loss with Big East play starting in two weeks, as Villanova and Creighton are looking like the class of the conference so far.
