West Brom are in seventh place in the league table, four points behind Manchester United, who they host Saturday.
United have won their last two league games on the bounce and are undefeated in their last six. Their big-name signings Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were each on the scoresheet on Wednesday, seeing them past Crystal Palace 2-1.
United trail fifth-place Tottenham by three points and fourth-place Manchester City by six. Jose Mourinho will be happy to have Chris Smalling back in the fold. The defender has been out since late October. Antonio Valencia will also be available for selection after returning from suspension. Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Luke Shaw will all miss out due to injury.
