West Ham welcome Hull to the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon. If the Hammers can win on Saturday then they’ll have taken seven points from three games and it could act as a turning point in their disappointing season. Slaven Bilic’s side got a good point away at Liverpool and then managed to beat a dogged Burnley side in midweek. The prospect of playing Hull at home is very a very inviting one too as the Tigers have lost their last six matches away from home in the Premier League.
Hull look like they could be fighting a relegation battle for the majority of this season and they need to start taking points in games like this. West Ham are a good side but they’re not as strong as they were last season. As well as this, the London Stadium does not give the Hammers as much of an edge as Upton Park did. It will take time for West Ham fans to really call it home and until that happens their side will lack a competitive edge that existed at Upton Park. Away sides have been able to exploit this and almost make it feel like the game is being played at a neutral venue.

Andy Carroll could start for West Ham after returning from injury in recent weeks. The Hammers will be without Simone Zaza, Diafra Sakho, Sam Byram and James Collins who are all out injured.
