Armed Forces Bowl (Friday 12/23, 4:30 pm ET) – Louisiana Tech and Navy OVER 66.5 points

This is off-brand for me, but I just can’t take another Louisiana Tech under… ever again. I gave out the under on the total in the C-USA title game and, well, it went poorly to the tune of 102 total points and nary a defensive stop to be had on either end. While Navy, at least as currently constructed, isn’t quite Western Kentucky in terms of offense, this number is low enough to entice me. I think the Bulldogs score 40-plus in this matchup and this sends me to the over, even if I hate it.

Armed Forces Bowl (Friday 12/23, 4:30 pm ET) – Louisiana Tech (-5) over Navy

We saw what Navy’s offense was without Will Worth, and it just wasn’t the same. I’ve ridden the Midshipmen throughout the season in this space, but I am very confident (see above) that Louisiana Tech will score a bunch of points in this game and I think the line is too low based on the current personnel for Navy. A lot of casual fans/handicappers will assume this is the Navy team from the rest of the season and, sadly, it isn’t that. Even in the Armed Forces Bowl, I just can’t do it.
