San Francisco 49ers. 31. team. 42. San Francisco may have realized how big of a mistake they have made in hiring Chip Kelly. Atlanta dominated every facet of the game Sunday, managing 550 yards of offense against a defense that was on the field for 36 minutes. Colin Kaepernick managed to get through the entire game, and had zero turnovers in his return as the starter. Defensively the 49ers were out of the game from the first drive, and allowed a touchdown on three of the first four Falcons drives. San Francisco now falls to 0-7 on the road, and has lost 13 straight games under Kelly.
Next Week: San Francisco will try to avoid being swept on the road when they make the short trip to Los Angeles to visit the faltering Rams. Both teams have had horrendous seasons, with changes at quarterback preventing the offenses from finding any momentum. Expect this game to be borderline unwatchable.

Draft talk: Depending on if Chip Kelly remains the head coach through one season, the 49ers could look at which quarterback they could reach for and still come out on top. Mitch Trubisky projects to be the best option if he declares, while Deshaun Watson could best fit what Kelly likes to run. If San Francisco decides to go best player available, they could be looking at some Alabama stars such as Jonathan Allen or Reuben Foster.
. 1-13. Previous:
