Vikings at Packers: Game preview, odds, prediction
The NFC North could be decided on Sunday when the Green Bay Packers host the Minnesota Vikings.
While the Detroit Lions currently lead the NFC North, the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings are both within striking distance. On Saturday Dec. 24, Green Bay (8-6) will host Minnesota (7-7) at Lambeau Field. This game could set up a winner takes all showdown in Week 17 when the Packers play the Lions.
After a 5-0 start, the 2016 season hasn’t been kind to Minnesota. They are just 2-7 after opening the season with five straight wins. Their biggest issue has been their offensive line, which hasn’t given quarterback Sam Bradford enough time to make plays. However, Minnesota still ranks in the top 10 in fewest points allowed per game and fewest total yards allowed per game.
Meanwhile, Green Bay has won four straight games after starting the season 4-6 in their first ten games. Aaron Rodgers has given the team the spark he has consistently given them throughout his career. After struggling early this season, down the stretch, he has proven why he’s one of the NFL’s elite quarterbacks.

Meanwhile, in nine of the Vikings’ past 13 games, the over under total has gone under. They are 3-6 against the spread in their last nine games. The weather report suggests it could be a White Christmas at Lambeau Field, as the forecast says snow is a possibility.
