Here’s how to watch Friday’s 2016 Bahamas Bowl between the Eastern Michigan Eagles and Old Dominion Monarchs online.
A pair of postseason newcomers will try to end their respective landmark seasons on a high note when the Eastern Michigan Eagles take on the Old Dominion Monarchs in the 2016 Bahamas Bowl on Friday afternoon at Thomas Robinson Stadium.
Eastern Michigan is headed to its first bowl game since 1987 after putting together a 7-5 campaign following four straight seasons of two or fewer wins. Third-year head coach Chris Creighton has done a terrific job with the Eagles, who picked up solid victories over Wyoming and Ohio en route to bowl eligibility.
Wide receiver Sergio Bailey was the most effective Eastern Michigan player on offense with 55 catches for 799 yards and six touchdowns. Bailey may play even a bigger role if running back Ian Eriksen is unable to play due to an undisclosed injury. The Eagles will be leaning heavily on defensive back Quan Pace to slow down the Old Dominion passing game after the senior racked up three interceptions and eight pass defenses this year.
