The Washington Redskins got a blowout win over the Chicago Bears in Week 16.
Entering Week 16, the Washington Redskins needed to get a win to keep their razor thin playoff hopes alive. Going into Soldier Field on Dec. 24, they took care of business, blowing out the Chicago Bears 41-21. Even though Kirk Cousins had a below average day by his standards (18 for 29, 270 passing yards, three total touchdowns), Washington’s defense took care of business. Matt Barkley’s five interceptions allowed them to dominate the game.
Though Cousins threw for just one touchdown, he also ran for two. Chris Thompson got the other touchdown of the day for the Redskins. Dustin Hopkins made both of his field goal attempts for Washington. Once again, Bears running back Jordan Howard was a bright spot in an otherwise cloudy day for Chicago. He ran for 119 yards on 18 carries.

Three Stars
- Josh Norman: Norman hasn’t had the best season of his career, but against the Bears, the Redskins cornerback showed why he’s one of the best in the NFL. He got two interceptions against Barkley to lead an impressive performance by Washington’s defense.
- Kirk Cousins: Not one of his sexier games, but Cousins once again put Washington’s offense on his back. He might have only thrown for 270 yards, but today, he also got 30 rushing yards. Cousins got three interceptions.
- DeSean Jackson: The former Eagles receiver had yet another 100 yard receiving game for the Redskins. He had five receptions for 114 yards.
