Watford host Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road on Monday, December 26. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Watford welcome Crystal Palace to Vicarage Road in the early kick-off on Boxing Day. The Hornets will fancy their chances of taking all three points after Palace sacked Alan Pardew last Thursday. The Eagles manager was not performing well and the club was just not getting the results they should have been.
Former England manager Sam Allardyce has succeeded Alan Pardew and he will take charge of his first game on Monday. Although players play up for a new manager it should take Allardyce some time to get exactly what he wants out of his players. Results did not immediately come for the veteran manager when he took over at Sunderland last season.
Watford have been on a strange run of form lately, winning only one of their last five despite normally being consistent. The Hornets are not in a bad position in the league though and a win could actually take them as high as eighth place. Crystal Palace’s visit should provide them with the perfect opportunity to get back on track as well. Sam Allardyce won’t know what his best team is yet and it may take him a game or two to figure that out.
