Arsenal host West Brom at the Emirates on Monday, December 26. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Arsenal welcome a high-flying West Brom side to the Emirates stadium on Boxing Day. The Gunners will be looking to get back on track after disappointing defeats to Everton and Manchester City.
Arsene Wenger’s side was a little unlucky to lose to Everton but their loss to Manchester City was all their own doing. They took the lead in that game and could not capitalize further on their advantage. They then opted for a defensive strategy in an attempt to preserve their lead but this was a bad choice. Normally Arsenal does not need an invitation to attack but on Sunday it looked like they could have done with one.
West Brom has been in good form of late, only losing two of their last seven games. They have also had convincing wins over Swansea and Watford which shows that Tony Pulis’ side are not all about the defensive side of the game. Pulis will know that his best shot at getting anything out of this game though is by playing a very defensive game and trying to frustrate Arsenal.
This could be a good time to play the Gunners as if they don’t score early their fans could start to turn on them. West Brom could provide the Premier League shock of the weekend if they play their cards right and get a little bit of luck.
