High Value SG

Eric Gordon-Houston Rockets (5,900): As the Rockets designated shooter in the second unit, Gordon has had nice fantasy value off the bench. He has at least 27 fantasy points in five of his last six games and posted 24-2-3 for 36.5 fantasy points against the Suns last week, and he should be able to produce against them again tonight making him one of the best sub-6K plays despite his status as a non-starter in Houston. ∗∗

Gary Harris-Denver Nuggets (5,100): Harris and the Nuggets will look for a better showing against LA after getting blown out last week in LA. Harris burnt his owners with just 9.0 fantasy points in that game, but he has at least 23 fantasy points in his other four of his five games since returning from his long layoff due to injury. Harris had 37 fantasy points against the Mavericks in his best game since returning, and he has good potential from just over 5K even though he’s in a tough matchup against LA. ∗∗

Tony Allen-Memphis Grizzlies (4,700): Allen and the Grizz take on the Magic tonight who may or may not have their starting SG Evan Fournier. Allen has been productive lately for the short-handed Grizzlies with at least 23 fantasy points in five of his last six games. He doesn’t have the offensive upside of Gordon and Harris, but he contributes across the board and should keep getting heavy minutes until all the Grizz get back from the injured list. ∗∗

Jamal Crawford-Los Angels Clippers (4,400): Crawford has 26 and 22 points in his last two games for 35.75 fantasy points and 27.0 fantasy points while helping to cover for Chris Paul and J.J. Redick’s hamstring issues on top of Blake Griffin’s absence. Crawford will be very involved in the Clippers attack tonight if both Redick and Paul are out and will be an excellent source of value at SG as a result.∗∗∗∗
