High Value PG

Patrick Beverley-Houston Rockets (5,800): Beverley continues to play well next to James Harden in the Rockets’ backcourt and has at least 25 fantasy points in nine of his last ten games. He had two games in his last five with over 35 fantasy points including a 18-9-9 game last Wednesday in Phoenix when he totaled 42.3 fantasy points. He’ll face the Suns again tonight making him a solid play with good upside even though his salary is creeping closer to 6K.∗∗∗∗

Emmanuel Mudiay-Denver Nuggets (5,000): Mudiay is high-risk, high-reward tonight as the Nuggets face the CP3-less Clippers. Mudiay has at least 26 fantasy points in three of his last four games, but when he faced the Clippers last Tuesday he had zero points and just 7.5 fantasy points. Tonight’s game will be different with o Chris Paul, but Mudiay remains a volatile option even though he definitely has good upside as the Nuggets starting PG. ∗∗

Sergio Rodriguez-Philadelphia 76ers (4,800): Rodriguez is still starting for the 76ers and will continue to do so after Jerryd Bayless’s season-ending surgery. Rodriguez has been up and down throughout the start of the season but is coming off a solid 30.9 fantasy points against the Suns last Friday as he and the Sixers roll into Sacramento tonight to face the Kings in their new arena. ∗∗

Ty Lawson-Sacramento Kings (4,600): Even though Lawson is coming off the bench, he’s putting up good numbers with the Kings and getting plenty of playing time. he has at least 15 points in each of his last three games and at least 27 fantasy points in each of those contests. He’s risky since he’s still not the starter, but he has been a solid bench contributor and will continue to get enough playing time to matter as long as starter Darren Collison continues to struggle. ∗∗

Raymond Felton-Los Angeles Clippers (4,000): Felton started the Clippers last two games with Chris Paul out, and he will likely get the nod again tonight in a great matchup against the Nuggets who are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG this season. Felton was on track for a triple-double last night against the Lakers but fell just short with 8-10-6 and 35 fantasy points. Tonight in a great matchup, he should be a top value play once again.∗∗

Austin Rivers-Los Angeles Clippers (4,000): Felton isn’t the only Clippers value play to consider since Austin Rivers could pick up a big workload too if J.J. Redick joins Chris Paul on the sideline. Rivers has had big games when given spot starts in the past, and if Rivers and Felton start in the backcourt tonight against Denver they’ll both be good 4K plays. No Redick-∗∗∗ With Redick-∗∗
