High Value SF

Danilo Gallinari-Denver Nuggets (5,900): Whenever he has been healthy this season, Gallinari has played big minutes for coach Mike Malone in Denver. He had 23-11-1 on Monday for his second straight double-double and a very impressive 45.75 fantasy points. He has at least 39 fantasy points in three of his last six and has a lot of upside as he takes on the Timberwolves at home tonight in Denver. The only thing really holding Gallo back from being an every-night option is that the Nuggets have plenty of other wing-options who can score now and the whole load no longer falls on Gallinari like it used to.∗∗

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (4,900): Gordon had his second 30-point game in the last 15 days on Monday pouring in 30 against Memphis on his way to 38.75 fantasy points. He has huge upside, but he was held under 20 fantasy points in three of his last five games as well. Gordon’s role and production vary greatly from game-to-game, but he has a high enough ceiling to consider taking a flier on him tonight.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist-Charlotte Hornets (4,800): Although much of the year has been a struggle for him, MKG has posted back-to-back games with at least 33 fantasy points. He had 12-9-2 with four blocks against the Bulls last Friday for 36.25 fantasy points and followed that with 12-10-2 with two blocks for 33 more fantasy points on Monday in Brooklyn. Tonight, he’ll take on the Magic who he had 16-7-1 for 26.25 fantasy points against in just 21 minutes earlier this month making him an intriguing play at under 5K. ∗∗

Maurice Harkless-Portland Trail Blazers (4,600): Harkless is a solid 5K play who gets plenty of minutes for Portland. He had 11-10-0 against the Kings last week for 29 fantasy points. He hasn’t been able to get to 25 fantasy points in any of his three games since then, but he usually gets around a low-grade double-double win about 30 minutes. He doesn’t have the high-level upside of some of the other SF options, but he does get consistent enough minutes to be worth considering.∗∗

Allen Crabbe-Portland Trail Blazers (3,700): Crabbe is a great cheap play if he gets another start for the Blazers tonight against the Kings. He started Monday against Toronto and played 35 minutes totaling 15.25 fantasy points on 7-5-0. He should be in a place to produce at least 20 fantasy points tongith against the Kings if Damian Lillard is out as expected leaving Crabbe a spot in the backcourt next to C.J. McCollum.∗∗∗

Dante Cunningham-New Orleans Pelicans (3,200): Cunningham has only played five games since returning from his fractured fibula, abut he’s already back in the lineup and logging heavy minutes. He had 5-7-2 with two blocks in his first game back in the lineup last Friday for 21.25 fantasy points and followed that with 21.0 fantasy points on Monday on 11-6-0 against Dallas. Tonight, he and the Pelicans take on the Clippers and he should be in for another 30+ minutes on the floor with the potential to be a good value play once again.∗∗
