5. Adam Griffith has to make the big field goal

When it comes to the big stage such as the College Football Playoff, kickers are going to be tested. Adam Griffith has kicked in plenty of big games for the Crimson Tide and is one of the most noted kickers in the school’s history.

However, he has had some games in his career where he has missed some key kicks. While the Crimson Tide had no issue defeating Florida in the SEC Championship, Griffith just didn’t seem right on the field.

He will get to kick on the same exact field against Washington and he will need to come up big for his team. The Washington secondary does a good job of keeping teams out of the red zone and Alabama has been one of the best at efficiency in the red zone. When Griffith gets his chance, he needs to make his kicks.
