Live stream and how to watch #7 Gonzaga (13-0) vs. Pacific (6-8) on television and online on Saturday, December 31.
#7 Gonzaga Bulldogs travel to Stockton, California, for their first conference road game on Saturday, December 31st. This game not only concludes the first week of West Coast Conference action, but it also marks the first week of play under the new nine-week schedule. Previously, the 18 conference games fit nicely into ten weeks and teams had travel partners so that teams played most weeks within one region without traveling back and forth. This week saw Gonzaga playing at home on Thursday and traveling to central California for Saturday’s game.
Gonzaga cruised past Pepperdine on Thursday, continuing their perfect season with 13 wins in a row. Their 92-62 rout was the Zags knocking down the WCC door and announcing their intention to win the conference this season. Big man Przemek Karnowski has been averaging 12.2 points per game and is 55.3% from the field, and he leads the team with his 6.4 rebounds per game. Nigel Williams-Goss is still the team leader in points per game with 14.2
Pacific has been hit with injuries this season under first year head coach Damon Stoudamire. They lost Thursday’s conference home opener to Portland 76-80, which isn’t bad for a team with so many injuries. Senior guard TJ Wallace has been averaging 13.3 points per game, while Ray Bowles has been averaging 14.2.
