Luol Deng-Los Angeles Lakers (4,800): Deng crashed back to earth on Thursday with just 3-2-1 for 8.9 fantasy points against the Mavericks. Before that letdown he had at least 25 fantasy points in six straight and nine of his previous ten. Deng had 38.4 fantasy points against the Clippers on Christmas for his best game during that run, and I think he’ll bounce back with another solid game tonight against the Raptors. Hopefully, you avoided his burn on Thursday or you have a short memory to jump back in on him at his affordable sub-5k price. ∗∗∗∗
Kent Bazemore-Atlanta Hawks (3,900): Bazemore has a ton of upside for a player under 4K, but he has been struggling with his shot for much of the season. He plays a ton of minutes for Atlanta and logged 40 against New York on Wednesday. Even in 40 minutes, though, he only had 15.2 fantasy points on 11-1-4. He did better on Friday with 10-2-4 with two steals and a block for 22.4 fantasy points. He has over 20 fantasy points in four of his last seven now, but he’s still high-risk especially agianst the Spurs tonight.∗
Jonathon Simmons-San Antonio Spurs (3,700): Simmons played very well on Friday against the Blazers finishing with 19-3-2 with two blocks for 28.6 fantasy points. He was helping to fill in for Kawhi Leonard, and if Leonard is still out today (questionable-illness), Simmons will be a flier worth a look. No Kawhi-∗∗∗ Kawhi back-stay away
