Jourdan Lewis

CB, Michigan

Admittedly, the Kansas City Chiefs don’t have a ton of needs, although some fans may argue that they need a quarterback to replace Alex Smith. Since the Big Three at the position are already gone, the Chiefs could consider adding a nickel corner to play alongside Marcus Peters and company.

Jourdan Lewis isn’t the biggest corner out of Michigan at just 5’11” and 186 pounds. However, Lewis plays like a guy who is much bigger, consistently wrapping up the ball carrier in open space when needed.

Lewis has great speed and great ball skills to mirror opposing wide receivers and make plays on the ball. He projects best as a nickel corner at the next level, and that’s something that the Chiefs could use.

Kansas City already has one of the most intimidating defenses in the NFL, and adding more depth to the secondary could make them even harder to deal with.
