Sunderland face Liverpool at the Stadium of Light on Monday. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Liverpool have won their last four league matches and are currently in second postion in the Premier League table, but still trail leaders Chelsea by six points. The Reds are coming off a big New Year’s Eve win over Manchester City at Anfield.

Ankle injuries to Philippe Coutinho and Joel Matip will keep both sidelined as Liverpool travel to the Stadium of Light on Monday. Manager Jurgen Klopp may also have to contend with his captain being unavailable: Jordan Henderson was subbed off against Man City after receiving a knock to his foot.

Sunderland are struggling to escape the drop zone as they sit in 18th place on 14 points, just one ahead of Hull City and two ahead of Swansea. They have lost four of their last six league matches, including a horrendous 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Burnley this past Saturday. The Black Cats have, however, won three of their last four at The Stadium of Light.

Liverpool will expect to extend their current league win streak on Monday. They need to in order to keep a semblance of pressure on Chelsea. Sunderland will be desperate to climb out of the relegation zone, but, although they are at home, are unlikely to come away with any points in this one.
