West Brom host Hull at The Hawthorns on Monday, January 2nd. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
West Brom welcome Hull to The Hawthorns on Monday afternoon. Tony Pulis’ side have been the surprise package of the Premier League season so far and they will fancy their chances of taking all three points against Hull. The Tigers put in a good performance against Everton on Friday night but Mike Phelan would have been disappointed not to take all three points. Hull went ahead twice against the Toffees but both times they were pegged back by the side from Liverpool. If Hull want to survive this season then they will need to improve upon their away form. In nine away games the Tigers have only taken four points and it’s unlikely that tally will improve on Monday.
West Brom are in great form and they got a great result at the weekend when they came from behind to beat Southampton at St Mary’s. Welsh forward Hal Robson-Kanu was instrumental in helping the Baggies to that victory and this has left Tony Pulis with a tough choice after he rested Salomon Rondon at the weekend. The Venezuelan striker has been one of the main reasons that the Baggies are in 8th place in the league and it’s likely that he will get the nod over Robson-Kanu. This should also give Rondon added motivation to grab a goal as he now knows that there’s someone else who is gunning for his place in the first eleven.
