Crystal Palace host Swansea at Selhurst Park on Tuesday, January 3rd. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Crystal Palace welcome bottom of the table Swansea to Selhurst Park on Tuesday night. This will be Sam Allardyce’s first home game in charge of the London club and he should fancy his side’s chances of taking all three points. Swansea were convincingly beaten by Bournemouth at the weekend and it just seems to be going from bad to worse for the Welsh side. The Swans are bottom of the league with only twelve points taken from nineteen games. Palace are only four points ahead of their opponents on Tuesday night but their future is much brighter under the guidance of Big Sam.
The Eagles would not have expected to get anything out of their visit to the Emirates but their new manager now has some notes on what he needs to strengthen his side. It’s clear that Crystal Palace’s attacking threats are good enough to keep them up but their defence definitely needs bolstering. If they can sort out the problems at the back then they should have no trouble remaining a Premier League club. Swansea are close to announcing former Derby boss, Paul Clement, as Bob Bradley’s successor. The Englishman has worked as an assistant at Real Madrid and Bayern Munich but his first managerial role in charge of Derby was an unsuccessful one. It seems a bold move from Swansea considering his lack of experience in this type of position. The Swans will be managed by caretaker manager Kenny Jackett on Tuesday night though.
