High Salary PF

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (7,900): Aldridge is the most expensive PF on the board tonight as he and the Spurs take on the Raptors who have allowed the tenth-most fantasy points per game to opposing PF this season. Aldridge has turned it on lately with at least 43 fantasy points in four of his last five games. His one down game was a horrible 15.7 fantasy points burn against the Blazers last Friday, but he bounced back with 27-13-2 and 49.6 fantasy points against the Hawks on Sunday. Aldridge my not have to carry quite as much of the load tonight with Kawhi Leonard a few days healthier, but he is still  A solid option if you have the money to spend at PF.

Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (7,200): Jokic continues to star when he can stay on the floor. Last night, he only ended up playing 25 minutes against the Warriors but still managed an impressive 44.1 fantasy points on 21-13-5 with a steal. He has at least 42 fantasy points in three of his last four games, and has played over 26 minutes in just two of those contests. Tonight, he’ll need to avoid foul trouble as he takes on DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings, but Sacramento is a good matchup for Jokic to attack on the other end in however many minutes he can stay on the floor for. He has immense upside even though the back-to-back situation and his foul trouble do raise the risk factor.∗∗

Julius Randle-Los Angeles Lakers (6,700): Randle has been playing extremely well since a few days off to be with his family just before Christmas following the birth of his child. In his four games since returning, he has over 37 fantasy points three times including an impressive 15-9-6 with two blocks and a steal in a tough matchup against the Mavs on New Years Day. He finished that contest with 42.8 fantasy points and has the upside to post over 40 fantasy points again tonight against the Grizzlies who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing PF over their last five games.∗∗∗∗

Tobias Harris-Detroit Pistons (6,000): Harris has at least 32 fantasy points in four of his last five games and all four of those games were contests in which he came off the bench. Hopefully, he’ll be in that roll as primary scorer on the second unit tonight against the Pacers in what should be a good matchup against Indiana. Harris had 17-7-0 in his return to the bench on Sunday after scoring over 20 points in his first three games in the second unit last week. If he’s in the lineup, he’s actually a little bit worse of a fantasy option than coming off the bench tonight (as expected).
