Here’s how you can watch Tuesday evening’s Wisconsin vs Indiana game from Assembly Hall online.
Wisconsin began the 2016-17 season just 4-2 and it had some experts scratching their heads because the Badgers were expected to be the best the Big Ten had to offer. Since then, though, Wisconsin has won eight straight games, including wins over Syracuse, Oklahoma and Marquette.
The Badgers are starting to look like the team everyone was expecting at the beginning of the season. They are playing solid basketball, led by one of the most veteran groups in the country, and they are one of the best offensive teams in the NCAA.
Nigel Hayes os the unquestioned leader of this team and decided to come back for another year in order to win a Big Ten and national title. He’s second on the team with 14 points per game, but Ethan Happ might be the most dangerous player outside of Hayes.
Indiana has fallen on hard times lately. The Hoosiers started the season with a 10-2 record, but last week was not a highlight for them. Tom Crean’s team lost two games, one to Nebraska to start Big Ten play and the other to Louisville, and have fallen to No. 25 in the rankings.
The Hoosiers are one of those teams which can beat anyone in the country and also lose to anyone. In fact, they have lost three of five games, but have also beaten teams like Kansas and North Carolina this season.
James Blackmon Jr. is back and healthy this season, leading one of the best offenses in the country in scoring. He is putting up 17.3 points per game and shoots about 44 percent from long range. The Hoosiers average 87 points per game and are a hard team to slow down.
