FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-January 4

High Value C
Steven Adams-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,600): Adams had a great game in the Thunder’s loss to the Bucks on Monday finishing with 20-8-2 and three blocks for 40.6 fantasy points. He normally doesn’t get quite that level of work on offense, though, so don’t expect 20 more points tonight against the Hornets. However, he does have at least 26 fantasy points in five of his last six and Charlotte is vulnerable to opposing centers especially with Cody Zeller already out for tonight with a concussion. Adams will get to take on Roy Hibbert instead which should allow him to put up enough fantasy points to be worth this salary.∗∗∗∗
Joakim Noah-New York Knicks (4,900): In the same matchup that Adams just took advantage of, Joakim Noah faces the Bucks at Madison Square Garden tongiht. He has at least 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games but his other contest was an ugly scoreless burn where he only managed 10.2 fantasy points. Aside from that outing, he has actually been playing very well lately for New York and is filling in the whole statsheet as he usually does. He’s risky due to his volatility, but he has been playing well enough lately to attack this matchup tonight.∗∗∗∗
Willie Reed-Miami Heat (4,000): With Hassan Whiteside out last night in Phoenix, Willie Reed was the only big man left to soak up the minutes at center. Reed went off for 22-18-2 and 51.6 fantasy points against the Suns after not having even 20 fantasy points in any game since December 9. Reed is definitely a boom-or-bust play tonight against the Kings, but he will be a popular option as he seeks to prove that last night wasn’t just a weird outlier.∗∗
