High Value PG

D’Angelo Russell-Los Angeles Lakers (6,000): Russell has been playing well for the Lakers lately and will get a good matchup in Portland tonight where he’ll either face C.J. McCollum trying to carry the weight of the team’s offense or Damian Lillard in his first game back from an ankle injury. Either way, Russell should be ready to continue his roll which has seen him post at least 32 fantasy points in three straight games. His best game during that run came on Monday when he logged an impressive 28-4-5 in 31 minutes against Toronto for 45.5 fantasy points.∗∗∗

Tony Parker-San Antonio Spurs (4,900): The Nuggets have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing PG this season, and Parker continues to be slightly under-valued due to the perception that he’s on the downside of his career. Parker has been playing well lately, though, with at least 13 points in all five games since Christmas Day with at least 24 fantasy points in each contest. He had 15-2-8 for 29.5 fantasy points against Toronto in his last game which makes him a good value in a good matchup tonight against Jameer Nelson and Emmanuel Mudiay.∗∗∗∗

Jordan Clarkson-Los Angeles Lakers (4,500): If you have to go cheap at PG and are willing to take on some risk to get upside, check out Jordan Clarkson.  The Lakers’ backcourt is a crowded place and minutes can fluctuate from game to game, but Clarkson only needed 18 minutes to get 30.25 fantasy points on 16-7-3 against Memphis on Tuesday night. Clarkson sometimes gets 25+ minutes and if that’s the case against the Blazers (who tend to play small) he could be a very nice option at this price. ∗∗

Isaiah Whitehead-Brooklyn Nets (3,400): With Jeremy Lin out again tonight, Whitehead will draw the start for the Nets against the Pacers. Whitehead has 12-6-1 for 22 fantasy points in 31 minutes on Monday against the Jazz and has the clearest path to playing time of all the PG plays under 4K. Whitehead is risky, but there is definitely upside to like as he runs the point for the Nets tonight.∗∗
