Here’s how you can watch Thursday evening’s Purdue vs Ohio State game from Columbus online.
Purdue suffered its toughest loss of the season last week, losing to Minnesota in overtime in West Lafayette. Although the Boilermakers now sit in the middle of the conference standings because of the defeat, they’re arguably the best the Big Ten has to offer.
Matt Painter’s team has just been wearing down opponents. The Boilermakers have size in the post thanks to sophomore sensation Caleb Swanigan and also mammoth post player Isaac Haas.
Swanigan has been the leader of the team, averaging 18.5 points and 13 rebounds per game, looking like a Big Ten Player of the Year frontrunner. Haas is averaging 13.9 points and 5.2 boards per contest.
Ohio State, on the other hand, opened Big Ten play with a five-point road loss to an improved Illinois team, but the Buckeyes are hoping for a better result on Thursday. They have a chance to make a real impression on the conference standings.
Thad Matta may not have one of his more talented teams, but the Buckeyes are no slouches, either. They are 10-4 overall and looking to pull off a big-time upset on their home floor.
The Buckeyes have one of the most spread out offenses in the conference despite not having a true go-to scorer. Jae’Sean Tate leads the way for the Buckeyes with 13.9 points per game while JaQuan Lyle, Marc Loving and Kam Williams all average in double figures.
