Start your weekend with a solid slate of eight NBA games for tonight’s DFS fantasy basketball contests. Find the best options for your team in today’s DraftKings daily picks.

The NBA has had a steady stream of games with week with at least seven games every night, and that trend continues with eight games ready to roll tonight, eight games tomorrow, and seven more on Sunday. Tonight’s games don’t have the one headliner matchup like Harden vs Westbrook last night, but there is a nice ESPN double-header and plenty of options for DFS fantasy basketball owners to check out in today’s DraftKings daily picks on the following slides.

More from DraftKings

The first two games of the night get underway at 7:00 which is when rosters will lock in for the evening. The Wizards welcome the Wolves in one of the early games while the Magic take on “The Beard” and the rest of the Rockets. At 7:30, the Celtics take on the Sixers while the Nets will welcome in the Cavaliers. The ESPN double-header starts at 8:00 PM as the Knicks and Bucks face-off in Milwaukee in a rematch of Wednesday’s Greek show at Madison Square Garden. There’s a little big of a lull while the early games all play out followed by a wave of three more games starting at 10:30 including the Grizzlies and Warriors in ESPN’s second game as well as the Kings hosting the Clippers and the Lakers welcoming in the Heat.  Make sure you keep in mind that the Nets, Rockets, and Lakers are playing for the second night in a row while the Celtics, Knicks, and Timberwolves are on the front half of their back-to-back games. The other ten teams playing tonight had a day off yesterday and will get a day off tomorrow.

While headliners like James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and LeBron James are obviously good plays, you’ll need to choose each spot on your roster carefully tonight. To see who I think are the top stars and sleepers based on form and matchup, scroll through my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show my relative confidence in the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’s competition. This post isn’t a place to find a copy-and-paste lineup since there are plenty of places that will sell you access to their picks. In this free daily post, I suggest you build your own customized team with the players that you like the most. As always, you’re welcome to check out my lineup and use it as a place to get started.

Just one more quick reminder that each day in my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy basketball hub. After those ground rules are laid out, let’s jump right into tonight’s DraftKings daily picks starting with the PG you need to think about getting on your team for tonight.
