Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson managed to fight through pass interference to haul in a ridiculous one-handed touchdown on Saturday night.

The NFC Wild Card Round battle between the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions started off as a defensive battle between both teams. There were plenty of recurring issues with the Seahawks’ offense as well. Namely, trying to score the ball on the goal line. With Seattle once again down to fourth down right on the goal line, Paul Richardson came through in clutch fashion for his team.

As the Lions brought pressure at Russell Wilson, he flipped the ball up in the air and let Richardson go get it. What ensued was Richardson getting blasted and somehow fighting his way through pass interference to haul in the touchdown with just one hand.

While Richardson is known more for his speed and his ability to get separation on the field from defenders, this play is a bit of a surprising one. The fact he was able to hold on against the larger Tavon Wilson is even more incredible.

Wilson is the tone-setter for the Lions and usually lays the big hits for them. Had Richardson not caught this, it would have been pass interference and first down again. Nonetheless, the Seahawks needed a role player to step up and make plays for them and he was the first to do so.

In terms of the all-time craziest catches in the playoffs, this is certainly one of those moments. He managed to take a hit and hold on for a one-handed touchdown. There might not be a better play in the playoffs.
