Oakland Raiders fans on Twitter had enough of Connor Cook and were calling for Matt McGloin to play in the second half against the Houston Texans.
The Oakland Raiders did not get the start that they were hoping for in the AFC Wild Card Round against the Houston Texans. With rookie quarterback Connor Cook under center and looking rattled early, the Raiders fell behind quick on the road. The Raiders were put in a tough spot with the injury to Derek Carr and the injury to Matt McGloin.
With the team failing to get anything going on offense, save for one touchdown set up by a great punt return, Raiders fans on Twitter had enough of Cook and were ready to see McGloin come in off the bench and take his spot. Even Portland Trail Blazers All-Star guard Damian Lillard had something to say.

Put McGloin in. Maybe he'll give us the spark we need

The only reason I'm still watching this game is to see if McGloin gets some snaps.

I think the Raiders need to put McGloin in

6-19, 58 yards and a pick. 19.2 QB Rating for Connor Cook. Why isn't McGloin playing?

With the way Cook was struggling early and to move the ball down the field, it was interesting the Raiders had yet to turn to McGloin. Despite being suited up for the game, they must not have felt it was necessary to go to him unless it was a complete emergency.
It’s tough for a player to get the first start of his career in a playoff game and this was not how the Raiders envisioned it going. It’s an impossible task for anyone, but if they have a quarterback good enough to suit up then they probably should go with the player that gives them the better chance of winning too.
It’s been an exciting year in Oakland, as the Raiders have finally returned to the playoffs. However, the way the year has ended has been an unfortunate series of events that no one wants to see happen to a team.
