The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Miami Dolphins in the 2016 AFC Wild Card round. Here are the inactive players for Sunday afternoon’s kickoff.

Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh expects to be a frigid one, as the No. 3 Pittsburgh Steelers will host the No. 6 Miami Dolphins in the 2016 AFC playoffs. Pittsburgh is a heavy home favorite over the Dolphins on Sunday. However, Miami did embarrass the Steelers early this season at Hard Rock Stadium.

With it being ridiculously cold in Pittsburgh, it is particularly important to know who’s healthy and who is not for this game. Here are the list of inactive players for both teams in the AFC Wild Card game.

Miami has two notable scratches for this game: quarterback Ryan Tannehill and cornerback Byron Maxwell. Tannehill suffered a tough knee injury against the Arizona Cardinals a few weeks back. The idea is that he might be able to go should the Dolphins advance to the NFC Divisional Round to play the New England Patriots. However, not seeing him active may not be a good sign of that. His backup Matt Moore will be getting the start in his place.

Maxwell has been dealing with an ankle injury he suffered in Week 17’s loss to the Patriots. He has been a key piece in the Dolphins secondary this season. His absence in this game doesn’t help, although it might be a ground-and-pound game more than anything due to the cold weather in Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh looks to be pretty healthy for this game. The lone exception will be at tight end. Ladarius Green will be out on Sunday afternoon, as he is in concussion protocol. The Steelers should be able to move the ball with the other offensive weapons, but not having Green makes it less likely that the Steelers will attack the Dolphins where they are most vulnerable at the middle of the field.

The two most important players in this game are the starting running back: Jay Ajayi for the Dolphins and Le’Veon Bell for the Steelers. Look for them to both go off on Sunday afternoon in this AFC Wild Card game.
