Who knew that Basketball Hall of Famer Bill Walton loves college football? He also loves America. Look at him being Uncle Sam on this ESPN commentary.

With the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide playing the No. 3 Clemson Tigers in the 2016 National Championship on Monday night, we all know who is going to win. That’s right. Basketball Hall of Famer Bill Walton won on Monday night.

He’ll be joined by either Alabama or Clemson later tonight, but for now, Walton is the Champion of America. No, seriously. The seven-footer is wearing the biggest Uncle Sam get up you’ll ever see. On national television, doing commentary on the game for ESPN.

Walton may have starred for the UCLA Bruins on the hardwood in college, but he does have an appreciation for big time college athletics. Here he is catching a football from former Pro Bowl wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson on national television wearing an Uncle Sam outfit.

Keep in mind that Johnson played for UCLA’s arch rival USC. Whatever. They both went No. 1 overall in their respective sport’s draft. There is a great chance that their commentary of the college football national championship is going to be off the chain.

This is a rematch of the 2015 National Championship, where No. 2 Alabama defeated No. 1 Clemson 45-40 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale on January 12th of last year. Alabama enters the game as a touchdown favorite over Clemson. The Crimson Tide are pushing for back-to-back national titles. For Clemson, this would be the Tigers’ first national championship since 1981 and second in school history.

If this game gets out of hand, maybe it is wise to flip over and find the channel with Walton being Uncle Sam to get sustained enjoyment.
