3. Duke at Florida State, Tuesday 8:00 p.m. ET

The upstart Seminoles will look to earn their best win of the season against powerhouse Duke in an early matchup that could shape the title race in the ACC.

Duke entered the season as the favorite for the national title and has remained in the top 10 with a mark of 14-2 despite rarely having its full team together due to injuries. Grayson Allen returned from a one-game suspension to lead Duke to victories over Georgia Tech and Boston College, the latter of which came without head coach Mike Krzyzewski, who is recovering from back surgery.

Florida State is well on its way to one of the best seasons in school history with a record of 15-1 so far, with the only loss coming by three points to Temple back on Nov. 24. The Seminoles are tied with Notre Dame at the top of the ACC standings at 3-0 after easily beating a good Virginia Tech team on Saturday.

While the Blue Devils are the most talented team in the nation when they’re at full strength, Florida State has the pieces to at least keep up and will be fired up for its biggest game in some time. Sophomore guard Dwayne Bacon has been terrific all season long and put up 29 points in the Seminoles’ marquee win over Virginia on New Year’s Eve.

The key for Florida State will be forward Jonathan Isaac, who is having a stellar freshman season but still has some untapped potential. With phenom forward Harry Giles yet to really get going for Duke due to knee problems, Isaac could be in line for a big game, which should give the Seminoles enough to win at home.
